IMPORTANT NOTE: This process is only necessary if you wish to save a copy of your video on your laptop that you recorded on your mobile device camera roll -- maybe you were offline when you needed to record and could not record (and upload) using the Edthena-provided tools. We always recommend you use the browser-based recording tools when possible. No apps required!
1. Connect your iPad to your Mac using a USB cord.
2. The content of your iPad will be shown via iPhoto.
You can find your device beneath the menu option "Devices"
3. Select the video you want to import
4. Click "Import Selected"
5. Choose to either delete the imported video from your iPad or keep it on your iPad
Now your video has successfully been transfered from your iPad to your Mac. It is stored in iPhoto.
6. In iPhoto, find your recently imported video in the album titled "Last Import"
7. To save your video on your desktop, click and drag the video file onto your desktop
