or "Why are my video uploads taking so long?"
If your video uploads are taking longer than expected, large file size could be the cause. Higher video resolution creates larger files, which can significantly increase upload time, even with a stable internet connection.
Use the steps below to record or export videos at a lower resolution before uploading to Edthena.
If you’re recording on a laptop, you may also want to record directly in Edthena using your web browser, which can help avoid large file sizes. See How to record and upload video with your web browser.
Record at a lower resolution on an iPhone
You can change video resolution directly in the Camera app.
- Open the Camera app and switch to Video mode.
- Tap the resolution/FPS indicator in the top corner (for example, 4K/60).
- Select a lower option such as 1080p.
- Record your video and upload it to Edthena.

- Select the video.
- Tap Edit.
