Or, "Why is my upload so slow"
WiFi Signal
If you are uploading over a WiFi connection, please make sure to have as strong a connection as possible to ensure a rapid upload. If you have a weak signal (usually represented by only one or two signal bars), we recommend that you physically move closer to your wireless router to increase your signal strength and make your upload speed faster.
Service Provider Speed
If you have a strong connection to your router (see above), the next thing you should look at is the speed of your internet service. You may have a "fast" download rate, but what matters for getting your video online is your upload rate. Please go here:

If you have a 10 Mb/s upload rate, you could upload a 500MB video file in approximately 7 minutes. However, if you only have a 2 Mb/s upload rate, it would take over 30 minutes.
Video Size
The upload speed of your video will also depend on the size of your video. A twenty-minute video will take much longer to upload than a five-minute video because the file size is much larger. To optimize your file size, we recommend that you record with Edthena's video tools.
As an example, a 30-minute video recorded with our web-based tool may only be around 300MB and take a few minutes to upload on a fast connection. The same video recorded without using an Edthena tool could be several gigabytes and take over an hour to upload.
