intro to video library, org library, example library, exemplar videos
An Organization Library is a secure way to share videos to educators within your organization. Access to your Organization Library can be made available to those educators who do not participate in video coaching.
Organization library videos often exemplify the skills and practices that a district, university, or organization finds important. Your organization library is a fully searchable and tagged video repository.
The video above introduces the Organization Library inside Edthena and shows a few of the features.
Your Organization Library must be requested and turned on for your organization. If you are one of the admins for your organization, you can email us at success@edthena.com.

There are a wide variety of reasons a library could prove useful to your organization:
- Model lessons of signature strategies you want to reinforce,
- View instruction across all content areas,
- Examples of specific techniques for reading, writing, and math across the curriculum,
- Guiding student discourse and classroom discussions to reveal student sensemaking,
- Illustrations of standards, or
- Celebrate teachers doing well (e.g. Teacher of the Year or Teacher Leader videos)
The Organization Library feature is more than just a video repository. It's a workflow for gathering and approving the videos across the organization.
A video is nominated for the Organization Library
When you are viewing a video conversation, you can quickly nominate the video to be part of the organization library with just a few clicks.
Teacher accepts video nomination
The teacher is notified and always has the choice of whether a video becomes part of the organization library.

Library Manager approves video
