When reviewing Exploration submissions, you may wonder: "What if I finalized a submission by mistake?" or "How do I let someone edit their work after it's already been finalized?" This article walks through how a coach can reopen a finalized submission so a participant can make changes.
1. Open the Exploration
Navigate to the group and select the Exploration that contains the submission you need to reopen.
2. Select "View All Participants"
Scroll to the very bottom of the left-hand column and click "View All Participants."
3. Filter by "Finalized"
In the dialog box that appears, use the dropdown on the left side to select "Finalized." This will display only participants who have already finalized their submission.
4. Select the Participant
Click the name of the participant whose submission you need to reopen.
5. Click "Reopen for Editing"
Scroll to near the bottom of the left-hand column and click "Reopen for Editing." The participant will now be able to edit their submission.
Once reopened, the coach can make edits and finalize again when ready.
