When reviewing candidate submissions in Explorations, you may wonder: “Why can’t I edit a teacher's work after sending feedback?” or “How do I let a teacher revise their submission before it’s final?” This article walks through the steps for reviewing and sending feedback, including when to use Return for Editing versus Send Feedback.
Step 1: Teacher Requests Feedback
- The teacher uploads documents or videos.
- They click Request Feedback to notify you.
Step 2: Review
- Open and review the artifacts the teacher submitted.
Step 3: Decide if Revisions Are Needed
-
If revisions are needed:
- Click Return for Editing.
- Add a note explaining what the teacher should update.
- The teacher can then modify and resubmit their work.
-
If no revisions are needed:
- Continue to finalize feedback.
Step 4: (Optional) Add Indicators
- Add Leveled Indicators if your program requires them.
Step 5: Finalize and Send Feedback
- Click Send Feedback to lock the submission.
- Once feedback is sent, the teacher cannot make further edits.
Important!
- Use Return for Editing if you want the teacher to revise.
- Use Send Feedback only when the submission is complete.
